“Blue Door” painting by artist Jackie Jacobson is transformed into a beautiful ceramic tile art coaster.
Mission San Juan Capistrano Blue Door is from the mission series of paintings. Now a coaster by artist Jackie Jacobson. It is also where the swallows return every year.
Jacobson said, ” I have visited many California missions. My favorite is Mission San Juan Capistrano.
This scene of the incredible tree in flower and the blue door, was a moment in time. I returned to the garden and area was transformed into a storage area. The beauty of the past visit was gone. I was fortunate to capture it on the first visit”
The Blue Door painting is now available as a coaster. Tile art for home or office.
Display the coasters on an easel as a fine art painting on tile. Then at a dinner, move them to your table for a colorful display. Add the tile art to your backsplash for a unique display of art and color.

Inkjet sublimation is the process used to decorate the ceramic tile coaster, using The Tile Master™ heat press. Epson Inkjet printers and sublimation inks print the transfers used to sublimate the tile coasters with unique artwork by Jackie Jacobson. The one absolute requirement of this process is that the tiles must have a polymer coating on them. When a tile is decorated using the sublimation process the image is transferred into the polymer coating and actually becomes a part of it.
The tile art coasters are manufactured in the Jackie Jacobson Studios in the Palm Springs area. Stop by the studios for a tour of the tile art production.
