How do you say thank you to your hostess?
I usually do it with a bottle of wine, some flowers, oh yes…and candy is perfect. Last month, I gave something I’ve never given. A box of greeting cards.
Earlier that day I looked up at my paper shelf and there was fine art greeting card stock that had been sitting unused since 2004. My intentions were to make greeting cards with some of my popular images. Of course, I never did.
Many of the print editions that were so popular, have now sold out. What a perfect opportunity. I selected “Pineapple I” which represents hospitality. Voila…the perfect thank you to my hostess. Those cards were so well received. I then realized that they’re perfect for my collectors and friends too.
And from this thank you gift, I have created a group of greeting cards that I will be sharing with my friends. I hope you like them enough to use yourself and also give as a gift.
