Why I do this Blog

This blog started as a … “everyone does one, I should too” … project. And then about a month ago I realized it was an opportunity for my art career to grow.

My goal is to show my artwork beyond the street fair that I display at weekly. Blogging can reach a new audience, can open my artwork to galleries and collectors that I have not been exposed to through showing at the fair.

Learning to be consistant by doing something daily is really helping me become more creative in my thoughts. Creating in a form other than painting, and sharing those ideas and thoughts with others is starting to be fun. And I’m actually growing in my writing skills. I hope people will begin to return to hear and see what Jackie Jacobson is talking about today and creating in the studio.

Evelyn – Thanks so much for your validation. It’s fun to do the work, when someone is watching and listening. I really appreciate your support. And…thanks for the wonderful compliments. I love doing what I do and I guess it’s that passion that keeps me feeling vital. Hugs to you. Jackie

Communication is a necessary human need. Making oneself understood takes practice, consistency, creativity, courage. You have them all. Good job.
