Pear Yellow
Today is simple, and brief. I do paintings daily and I’ll post a few every week. This is the first time I’m posting daily artwork, so I’m including a couple from past weeks.
Now, that’s honest. How would you know if I did them yesterday, today or one year ago. But…I like to keep it honest.
These pieces were done digitally using Corel Painter 11 on the Wacom Cintique Monitor.
I love that I can do these
- fast
- no mess
- no water
- no turpentine
- no paint spills
- no rags
I suppose I’ve made the point. Painting digitally is freeing. Very freeing. So here are a couple of recent pieces from my morning loosen ups.
Pear 04
Pear 06
Pear 05
So this is how I stay loose after working on my tight photorealistic pieces. As you can see, I love color and these pieces give me an opportunity to explore color combinations that I don’t ordinarily use.
Thanks for viewing. I’d really love to hear comments and suggestions, so…leave one please.
